  • Animoto -  Animoto provides an array of tools for creating videos in your classroom. Teachers, sign up for educator account to get unlimited recording.
  • CogDogRoo Wiki - Excellent resource showing 50 tools for multimedia digital story telling.  He has even created an example story using each of the tools mentioned.  Also provides resources for developing your first digital story.
  • Photo Story 3 - This is free software from Microsoft for creating simple, quick slide shows.  It's already installed on our lab computers, but you can download and install at home.  Don't forget Movie Maker, it comes with your Windows OS.
  • Indispensible tools - Wiki list of tools for technology use in classrooms.  Created by educators.
  • Cool Tools for Schools - Annotated wiki list for media web2.0 tools.
  • Video Creation Tools - check these resources from FreeTech4Teachers post.  Great animation creator.

Pixlr - Online photo editor comparable to Photoshop.  Add annotation to photos. Also has screen capture Add-on for Firefox browser.

Aviary - another online photo editor.  Can be used to screen capture without Add-on, but then captures whole page.  Check out new Audio Editor "Myna" - great way to create an incredible podcast
